The preschool programs at South High School in Downers Grove have openings for the 2012-2013 school year! High school students studying child development are eager to take on an active teaching role for the programs, which are designed for parents to drop off their children.

New for this year, the preschool room was refurbished over the summer. It has been refreshed with colorful new furniture, bookcases, chairs, rugs, a multi-faucet sink and small toilet facility. For more pictures click here

“We are so excited to welcome preschoolers into our new room, complete with discovery centers that include a comfy library corner and two new sensory tables,” says Director Valerie Moses. “Our teen students have planned a variety of play activities that will encourage preschoolers to explore the new world of learning.”

At South High, the 7-week fall session “Little Mustang” preschool begins the week of November 5 and runs through December 17, 2012. The 14-week spring session runs February through May, 2013.
