CLASS
Attention all students: As an end of the year celebration for Mustang Way, we will be having full period lunches today. Students should report to the cafeteria at the beginning of their assigned lunch period and may exit out the back to the west side of the building or stay inside. There will be several types of games, you can use your stamps to spin a prize wheel, there will be a do it yourself photo booth, and we will have other activities going on as well. Come enjoy some extra time with your friends.
The Mustang Way store will be open for the last time this Thursday during lunch periods. Juniors, it’s finally time for the parking spot raffle! The yearbook raffle will be open to all students as well. You can’t use stamps earned this year in the store next year so stop by the table and redeem your remaining stamps.
Attention all current National Honor Society members: The end of the year is finally here! We will be hosting a bagel and donut breakfast to acknowledge all your hard work and dedication throughout the year. All junior and senior NHS members are invited to join us tomorrow, Wednesday, May 22ndin the faculty cafeteria. It begins at 7:10am. See you all there!
Attention All Students: Please pick up your medications from Health Services, Room A106, before the last day of school. If not taken home by May 31st the medication will be discarded.
Prom Pictureshave arrived. You may pick them up in the Bookstore.
Students: The last day for Activity Buses will be Thursday, May 23.
Haven't ordered a yearbook yet? It isn't too late! Yearbooks will be sold for $45 in the Student Activities office beginning Wednesday, May 22nd. All school fees must be paid before a yearbook can be purchased.
ACTIVITIES
Attention any student who is taking an AP science class next year: Check your school e-mail for information about a mandatory meeting for anyone taking an AP science next year. If you have any questions, ask your science teacher for more details.
Mustang Book Club will meet in the library Tuesday after school. This is our last meeting so please bring a snack to share and summer reading book suggestions.
Listen up all DGS poets! South’s last Open Mic of 2013 is right around the corner. This is your last chance to perform any songs, poems, or other brilliance you have been hiding from the limelight. Come get your free copy of 2013’s Calliope, South’s fine arts and literary magazine. See you next Wednesday, May 22nd, after school in D180. Free lit mag, free cake!
The last meeting of the year for anime club is coming up, we'll meet in A-220 after school on Wednesday. We don't what shenanigans we'll be doing next, so come stop by and contribute. You may bring in your video games, cards, or Japanese culture related stuff. Hope to see you around. Also bring friends; it will be quite an experience.
ATHLETICS
There will be a short informational meeting on Wednesday, May 22nd at 7:30am in the Driver Education room. (E-008) Updated summer camp information will be distributed. Please plan on attending this meeting even if you are currently involved in a spring sport. If you are unable to attend please let Coach Stapleton know.
