Alumni Search and Outreach Efforts Underway for Downers Grove North, South High Schools

District 99 is reaching out to alumni of Downers Grove North and South High Schools to update their contact information, and to help create a new alumni directory. To gather the information, the district is working with Harris Connect, a firm with over 45 years of experience in researching and publishing alumni directories.

Harris is contacting graduates with their last known address by mail, and asking them to call a toll-free telephone number:

• North High alumni may call 1-800-338-7793
• South High alumni may call 1-866-705-6394

“Every year, alumni members contact us asking for help in locating their fellow classmates for reunion gatherings,” says Dr. Mark McDonald, superintendent. “We’d like to be able to provide better information for those who share the common bond of being graduates of our schools, and helping them to maintain a close network.”

Harris does not charge the district for its research. Harris will be offering to sell the directories to alumni. Those contacted are under no obligation to any purchase items in order to participate. In addition, the district has a strict confidentiality agreement with Harris not to sell personal information to third-party organizations. Alumni are not required to participate, and may remove their name from both the calling list and directory, if they wish.
